the Surrey Archaeological Society, Epsom and Ewell Historical and Archaeological Society and Bourne Hall Museum invite everyone of all ages to come and try live archaeology,
including digging, sieving and helping to process the finds as part of a live dig. Test pits will be dug to discover what history is hidden deep below the surface of Bourne Hall Park.
The day will include a host of activities meet Roman legionnaires, try some Roman cooking if you dare, and practice some Roman beauty tips.
There will be sand trays for the very young archaeologists, a handling collection of finds, and an exhibition of what could be discoveries, so do come along and see what’s going on!
